At an event, while not photographing people, I often spend a lot of the time getting pictures of inanimate objects… crouching down low to take a point of view never typically seen. I try to record everything at an event that left somewhat of an impact on somebody’s experience there, be it a child’s arts and crafts project or something they ate. Plus, when I photograph a Christmas tree, I don’t just take a wide shot of the whole tree, oh no sir! I also get close in on the little ornaments, highlighting them against the pretty lights on the tree. I believe that anything can become a subject for a memorable photograph, even a water bottle left behind on a football field, and capturing those details helps encapsulate all the positive memories of that special day.
