Happy New Year! We hope you are starting off the year on a positive note. We finished 2016 strong, publishing two new books in November, and are excited about what 2017 will be bringing. Six-Word Lessons for Surviving a Devastating Diagnosis was released in November and is the second book by Shirley Enebrad. She is a certified grief counselor and has experienced the heartbreaking diagnosis and death of her son. This book is written with co-author Christine Hurley, whose daughter has also dealt with a difficult medical diagnosis. While it's not a pleasant topic, the book includes vital tools and helpful tips for anyone facing the unthinkable, either for themselves or loved ones. Shirley also wrote Over the Rainbow Bridge and Six-Word Lessons on Coping with Grief. Also published in November, Six-Word Lessons on Effective Communication, is written by local speaker and former teacher Jenni Butz. Jenni has taken her extensive knowledge as a teacher and verbal communicator and used it to share everything you need to know when communicating. It covers grammar, punctuation, and even has tips on resolving conflict, networking and public speaking by using the most effective communication techniques. It's a great reference manual for anyone who communicates. If a writing and publishing a book is a goal for you in 2017, please let us know how we can help. We can hold you accountable, and give you options on how to publish, market and sell so you can become a published author this year! Patty Pacelli [email protected]
